Community Guidelines

1. Our Commitment to Safety
LiveSpill is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for TV fans to connect and chat
about their favourite shows. These Community Guidelines outline our standards for user behaviour and
content to ensure LiveSpill remains a positive space for everyone.
2. Child Safety and Protection
LiveSpill has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual
Abuse Material (CSAM).
2.1 Absolute Prohibitions
The following are strictly prohibited on LiveSpill and will result in immediate account termination
and reporting to relevant authorities:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content that depicts, encourages, or promotes
the sexual abuse or exploitation of children
- Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any behaviour, content, or activity that
sexually exploits or endangers children
- Grooming or solicitation of minors
- Sharing, requesting, or discussing CSAM or methods to obtain it

Sexualisation of minors in any form, including drawings, animations, or AI-generated content
- Content that encourages or normalises child abuse
2.2 Reporting and Enforcement
If you encounter any content or behaviour that violates child safety on LiveSpill, please report it
immediately using the in-app reporting feature available on all user profiles and content. You can
also contact us directly at safety@livespill.app.
We will immediately investigate all reports of CSAE/CSAM and will report confirmed cases to the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant authorities as
required by law.
3. Prohibited Content and Behaviour
In addition to our child safety standards, the following content and behaviours are prohibited:
3.1 Harassment and Bullying
- Threatening, intimidating, or harassing other users
- Targeted abuse or sustained negative attention towards individuals
- Sharing personal information without consent (doxxing)
- Coordinated harassment campaigns
3.2 Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity,
religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Slurs, derogatory language, or discriminatory statements
- Symbols or imagery associated with hate groups
3.3 Violence and Harmful Content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Content that promotes or glorifies violence
- Threats of physical harm
- Content that encourages self-harm or suicide
3.4 Sexual Content
- Pornography or sexually explicit content
- Unwanted sexual advances or solicitation
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
3.5 Spam and Fraud
- Repetitive, unsolicited messages or content
- Phishing attempts or scams
- Misleading links or malicious software
- Unauthorised advertising or commercial solicitation
3.6 Impersonation and Deception
- Impersonating other users, celebrities, or organisations
- Creating fake or misleading accounts
- Spreading misinformation or disinformation
3.7 Intellectual Property Violations
- Posting copyrighted content without permission
- Trademark infringement
- Unauthorised use of others' creative work
4. Age Requirements
LiveSpill is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 13 are not permitted to create
accounts or use our services. If we become aware of a user under 13, we will immediately terminate
their account and delete their data.
5. Reporting Violations
We rely on our community to help maintain a safe environment. If you see content or behaviour that
violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-app reporting feature: Available on all user profiles, messages, and content
- Contact our safety team: Email safety@livespill.app for urgent safety concerns
- Provide context: Include relevant details to help us investigate quickly
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We investigate reports promptly and take
appropriate action, which may include content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, or
permanent account termination.
6. Consequences for Violations
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:
- Content removal: Violating content will be removed from the platform
- Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning
- Temporary suspension: Repeat or serious violations may result in temporary account
suspension
- Permanent ban: Severe violations, particularly related to child safety, will result
in immediate and permanent account termination
- Legal action: Violations involving illegal activity (especially CSAE/CSAM) will be
reported to law enforcement
7. Appeals Process
If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may appeal the
decision by contacting appeals@livespill.app within 30 days.
Please note that decisions involving child safety violations are final and not subject to appeal.
8. Moderation Practices
Our moderation approach includes:
- Human review: Trained moderators review reported content
- Automated detection: Technology helps identify potential violations at scale
- Proactive monitoring: We actively monitor for high-risk content
9. Positive Community Standards
Beyond avoiding prohibited content, we encourage users to:
- Be respectful and kind to fellow TV fans
- Keep discussions on-topic and relevant to shows
- Welcome newcomers and create an inclusive environment
- Respect different opinions about shows and characters
- Report violations to help keep the community safe
10. Updates to Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as our platform evolves and to reflect changes in safety
best practices. Material changes will be communicated to users via in-app notifications, and the
"Last updated" date will be revised.

LiveSpill complies with all applicable child protection laws and regulations, including reporting
requirements for CSAM under national and international law.
